No. Tipping should be done at your discretion based on a job well done.

Yes. Most all activities are discounted for children and some even free (ask call or email a Maui-Activities concierge for details). In addition, there are several activities online that honor discounts for seniors, travel club members, multiple bookings, etc. If you’re not sure whether your activity qualifies, please do not hesitate to call us and we will be happy to get you any further discounts that are available.
Do I have to pay sales tax? back to top^
Yes. Hawaii State defines different tax percents for different types of Hawaii activities. Boat trips= 4.166% GET pus 2% Harbor Tax. Helicopters= 7.5% Airport Tax plus $3 per person Segment Fee. Some Helicopter companies charge an additional fuel fee, which is sometimes already included in our prices or added as an additional fee at the time of checkout. There are no hidden taxes or fees.

How do I receive my tickets? back to top^
Once you’ve placed your order online you will be emailed a receipt for your purchase.
We then call to confirm your reservation.
We are conveniently located at 310 Alamaha St. in Kahului (One mile from the Kahului airport), or in Lahaina Town at 155 Lahainaluna Rd. (local phone: (808) 856-7512)
Next you will need to pick up your tickets in person from one of our offices.
At that time you will receive our Aloha welcome package which includes:
- Free Island Maps
- Free Restaurant & Shopping Coupons
- Free Island Activity Guide
-Driving direction including detailed instructions on how to arrive at your activity destination(s) safe and on time.
The tickets will have all your pertinent tour information such as dates, times, and pick-up information. When you visit our office take advantage of the infinite knowledge of our local employees. They are happy to give you advice on how to make your trip to the islands most memorable.

I have never snorkeled before. Will the tour company show me how? back to top^
Yes! All companies that offer snorkeling provide a personal demonstration on the use of their snorkel equipment. If you are on a snorkel excursion they will provide you with all of your snorkel gear and lessons on safety, what to look for, and may even give you a chart of popular sea life so that you can identify the cool creatures below. All snorkel tours also offer flotation devices so that you can be more comfortable on the water. In addition most snorkel companies have a certified lifeguard in the water at all times to be of immediate assistance if needed.

No. Most tours have limited availability and typically sell out in advance. Therefore purchasing the tour or activity is the only way to guarantee your place at the event.
Is there a fee for canceling? back to top^
Just call us to change or cancel your reservations at least 48 hours prior to the activity and you won't pay a cent! It's that simple. No worries, no headaches, no questions; just part of our commitment to you. In the event the activity itself is cancelled for whatever reason (bad weather etc.), your money will be either refunded in full or you will be allowed to reschedule to another time at absolutely NO CHARGE; whichever you prefer. So go ahead and reserve your activities with complete confidence knowing that you've found Hawaii's best online source for activities and tours.

Hawaii does not experience a time change during the year. We are 6 hours behind the East Coast in the summer, and 5 hours in the winter. We are 3 hours behind the West Coast in the summer, and 2 in the winter.

Official whale watching season is from December 15th to May 15th every year.
Humpback Whales travel from Alaska to Maui every year at the same time to bear their young in the safe tropical pristine waters of Hawaii.

While Hawaii is typically warm and sunny, there are some variations of temperature and rainfall throughout the year. The hottest and most humid months in Hawaii are September and October with a temperature range of 78-95 degrees. November through March seem to be the coolest months (70-85 degrees) with some scattered showers. It is those refreshing light showers that make Hawaii the Rainbow State!

Peak tourist season runs between Thanksgiving and Easter with the busiest time during Christmas. To avoid the tourist rush come visit in May or Sept-Oct. Make sure that if you are coming to Hawaii during peak season to book all your activities well in advance.

There are several tours that are “family friendly” and will accommodate our younger visitors. Typically boat adventures including snorkeling tours as well as helicopter adventures, bus tours, and the popular sugar cane train are a wonderful option for families with young children.
